Sharad, a seasoned gemstone manufacturer and trader, had his business expanded in USA, Thailand, and Japan.

After years of experience in exhibitions, they thought of opening the first retail outlet in Bangalore. Naman Jain, the eldest son of Sharad and Anju Jain, pitched a meticulously crafted proposal during his pursuit of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Bangalore. This enabled them to secure their first retail outlet- a kiosk at Mantri Square Mall.

Their second store has an interesting story behind it. One day, a gentleman walked into their store and proposed a place in Indiranagar. Initially, they didn't take him seriously, but later that day, Mr. Naman went out with his friends and coincidentally came across the location.

The next morning, Mr. Sharad and Mr. Naman spoke with the owner, who happened to be half-Japanese and half-Indian. Luckily, things fell into place when Sharad Jain, who is fluent in Japanese, communicated with the owner. That’s how the second outlet was opened in Indiranagar, Bangalore.

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Creative Gems & Jewels began its digital transformation under the leadership of Naman Jain, along with Samyak Jain and Vrinda Jain (Naman’s wife).

Samyak Jain, younger son of Sharad Jain, joined the family business on 7 January 2020 and took charge of manufacturing while sharing responsibilities at the Jaipur office along with his uncle Mr Anish jain . He brought professional discipline and experience from his six years at Torm Shipping, a Danish tanker company, helping streamline operations.

During the pandemic, the team adopted a customer-centric approach and shifted strongly towards online selling, with Samyak playing a key role in pushing digital growth. After detailed research, the company focused on Instagram as digital platforms, marking the beginning of its successful move into the online jewellery market.
